The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN), on Thursday expressed delight at the launch of a book that gave insight into the performance of Nigeria’s aviation sector.

Keyamo applauded the author, Mr Albinus Chiedu, at the public presentation of the book entitled: “Nigeria’s Aviation Sector: People, Behaviours Behind the Performances”, in Lagos.

The minister was represented by his Special Assistant on Service Delivery, Mrs Janet Oputa.

He said that the book was an insightful exploration of the human elements driving Nigeria’s aviation sector.

“At a time when Nigeria is striving for excellence in all sectors, understanding the behaviours and attitudes that influence performance in the aviation sector is crucial.

“Albinus Chiedu has meticulously captured the essence of what makes our aviation industry thick, providing a blueprint for future improvements.

“This book is particularly relevant now, as we are in an era of transformation and growth.

“The insights within these pages will serve as a guiding light for policymakers, industry professionals and anyone with a vested interest in the progress of Nigeria’s aviation sector,” he said.

According to the minister, the occasion also provided an opportunity to think of the journey ahead.

He added that the book was a testament to the dedication, resilience and innovation of those who contributed to the growth of the aviation sector.

Earlier, the author said that the performance of Nigeria’s aviation industry resulted from human behaviour.

He commended past players in the sector for progressiveness.
